The short and the long of it: I got up early, got hiking before almost everyone else--I was on the trail at 7:30. Along the way, I passed six people, and was to the waterfall in two hours... I had it all to myself. I took a little dip, brrrr it was cold, 68 degrees and blowing mist from the waterfall, and was happy to scoot back down the rocky trail to a small patch of sunlight to eat a little bit. I was back at the car at noon.
Pictures and the scenery were much better midday than during the morning--but the crowds, yikes. I think I passed 60 or 70 people.
