We drive a bit east of Geraldton to Mullewa to see the wildflowers... but there hasn't been much rain inland, and it gets real dry real quick. Still, we see a few on the way out at two exceptional roadside stops. We're glad that we left Muggon Station... what we're seeing now is remarkable.
Today I realized there's a very good indication of how interesting I think a place is that I've visited: it's the number of pictures I take.
And today provides a good example. I took 151 pictures. Normal days are about 50 or so. The day I took the most was at Karijini National Park, the forbidden town of Wittenoom, and the BHP Mt Whaleback open pit mine.
So here are all those pictures.
