Lawn Hill National Park, Queensland
A wonderful day around the deep red sandstone gorge of Lawn Hill, hiking and canoeing. Sadly, we didn't see a freshie--a fresh water crocodile.
Oh, my, we woke up late: 8:30. Tea and brekkie. Then a drive over to the park, and a walk up Island Stack.
Then in the afternoon, canoeing in the gorge. And showers. And that's about it.
Weird Wildlife Sighting
Cormorants. What are these birds doing here, a good 200km from any other water?
